DocOnWay may use the following categories of cookies:

Strictly necessary cookies: cookies required for the secure operation of the platform, maintaining sessions, logging in, form submission, security checks, load balancing, fraud prevention, and the provision of services explicitly requested by the user. Without such cookies, the basic functions of the platform may not operate properly.

Preference and functionality cookies: these may be used for language preference, location/language matching, user interface preferences, chat window status, or similar experience improvements.

Analytics and performance cookies: these may be used to understand visitor traffic, page performance, error rates, navigation flows, product improvement, and usage trends. Where required by applicable law, we request prior consent for them.

Advertising, targeting, and social media cookies: these may operate for campaign measurement, retargeting, advertising conversion, and social media integrations. DocOnWay uses Google Ads for advertising measurement and conversion measurement. Advertising cookies are presented as a separate, independent category in our cookie preference center (see Section 4), and your choice for that category is what determines whether they are used.

We may use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

• to maintain the user session;
• to prevent security breaches and suspicious use;
• to remember your preferences;
• to technically operate booking and form flows;
• to measure platform performance and troubleshoot issues;
• to improve the product and user experience;
• to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns;
• to carry out advertising/retargeting activities within the framework of applicable law.

Strictly necessary cookies can generally be used for the performance of the information society service explicitly requested by the user, platform security, and legitimate operational purposes. By contrast, for non-essential analytics, performance, advertising, and similar cookies, prior explicit consent is obtained where required under applicable law.

In this context, DocOnWay aims, to the extent possible, to comply with the following principles:

• for Google's advertising and analytics tag, storage, advertising, and personalization permissions (technically: analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising-related user data, and ad personalization) remain denied until you make a choice in our cookie preference center — the tag itself may be present on the page using Google's Consent Mode framework, but does not store advertising or analytics cookies, or use data for personalization, without your consent;
• "accept," "reject," and "preferences" options are presented in the consent mechanism in a clear and accessible manner;
• it is made as easy for you to withdraw consent as it is to give it;
• consent is not obtained by embedding it into the general terms of use or privacy text;
• it is made possible to make separate choices for different cookie purposes, including separate Analytics and Advertising categories.

For Google's advertising and analytics tag specifically, we implement Google's Consent Mode, through which your cookie preference choices (Analytics and Advertising) are communicated to Google as consent signals covering analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising-related user data, and ad personalization. Where a relevant consent has not been granted, Google Consent Mode may allow limited, cookieless measurement signals to be sent, in accordance with Google's own documentation for this feature.

Some cookies may be placed directly by DocOnWay ("first-party cookies"). Some may be placed by third-party service providers; for example, analytics, security, maps, chat, video, customer communication, or advertising tools. When third-party cookies are used, the relevant third party's own data practices may also apply. When working with such providers, we aim to apply contractual and technical controls; however, our full control over their own environments may be limited.

Where you consent to analytics cookies, we may use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our website through usage analytics, heatmaps, and session recordings. This helps us improve usability and detect technical issues. Clarity may collect usage data such as clicks, scrolls, device/browser information, and interaction patterns. We do not use Clarity to intentionally collect medical information or payment details.

Where you consent to advertising cookies, we may use Google Ads to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and to measure conversions, such as completed booking requests or payments, resulting from those campaigns. Google Ads may set cookies such as _gcl_au for this purpose. DocOnWay does not include patient names, email addresses, phone numbers, symptoms, medical history, or other health information in its Google Ads conversion event payloads.

You can manage your cookie preferences through the following methods:

• through the cookie preference center / consent manager offered on DocOnWay;
• by blocking, deleting, or restricting cookies through your browser settings;
• through your device's mobile privacy settings;
• through the preference panels of advertising and social media platforms.

Disabling some cookies may result in certain functions of the platform not operating properly or the user experience being impaired.

Cookies may be "session cookies" that are automatically deleted at the end of a session or "persistent cookies" that remain on your device for a certain period. Durations vary according to the tool and purpose used. We aim to observe the principles of proportionality to purpose and data minimization when determining cookie lifetimes.

If third-party analytics or marketing tools are used, some data collected through those tools may be transferred outside your own country. In such cases, we aim to rely on the transfer mechanisms required by applicable law and may provide reasonable explanation upon request.

The cookies and technologies we use may change over time. Therefore, this policy may also be updated. The most current version is published on the platform.
